I seem to be getting a tranny leak, When I had the car up on the rack and I noticed a leak where the tranny and the axle meet. Do you think I have a bad seal? I am leaking a good amouont of fluid onto my garage floor. If it is a seal, how much to fix the mofo.

i had that problem on my old tranny , i changed 2 seals but the problem wouldnt go away. after the second seal i changed the tranny . check the seal

I was leaking tranny fluid as well from my car, a NX2K but it wasn't a seal the tranny had a hairline fracture by the limited slip. Yu may want to check that out as well, it may be hard to see a crack that tiny.

damn it all, the leak suddenly got REALLY bad.

like pools of fluid.

I HAVE A BAD SEAL ON MY TRANNY BEEN LEAKIN OUT FOR LIKE 2 MONTHS NOW STILL AIGHT I JUST KEEP REFILING IT EVERY 2 WEEKS WITH FLUID

yeah I found a place that will replace my CV boots, seal, and do my pacecrapper for about 80 bucks

ok **** my car on sat (while going wild on it)i pulled over and i seen a pool already of fluid i tried to make it home 25 mins away but on the way i knew i wasnt gona make it so i pulled over and got towed so now im gona finally fix the seal p.s. dam that supra i was racing!

I had 3 trans leaks. One was a seal. The other two were both of the switches.

mann it wasnt a seal i had a small crack in my tranny and on sat it just split wide open so now im gettin a new tranny !!

where'd you find the tranny and how much?

mine's got a slight dribble right now... I hope it's nothing serious... I'll check the seals as soon as I can

well its a used tranny from a autosalvage here in htown they wanted 325 plus trade in my old 1 not bad i guess but what can u do but give themthe $

325 with a trade what a deal, I found one and they want 500 for it and they don't even know if it has 5th gear popout.

**** i went and bought the tranny and it came out to 325 and they said i could keep myy old 1 stillworks just has a huge crackin it!
