Well I'm stumped I had broken a cam earlier from a faulty valve spring breaking and well NOW......I go to put the new head on doing great...and now the chain isn't long enough(slack) to go around the cam sprockets....does anyone have any ideas at all I seriously do not want to take off the front cover...Any help is appreciated thanks people

Take the gears off the cams and make sure your tensioner is removed. Then slip the gears back on while the chain is on them.

I had to replace the head... the tensioner is out of the head....chain just won't come up enough for it to fit on both sprockets....

I was able to reset my timing chain position by removing just the intake cam sprocket, not both intake and exhaust cam sprockets.
