i was wondering, if you could use a single wire o2 sensor for an air/fuel ratio gauge. weld an 02 bung in the secondary of the header and you will have a dedicated sensor for the gauge, therefore you do not have to splice into the stock 02. also, by having the sensor in the secondary, you get a more "accurate" reading of what ALL the cylinders are releasing. tell me what you all think.

It's way to slow for a a/f guage. I'd go with a 5 wire setup.
what do you mean slow, the time to heat the o2 up?

our o2 sensor are heated anyhow, thats' what the other 2 wires are for. The ecu only reads from one wire anyway.

Your idea makes sense, I installed the jdm mani and used the existing hole on the collector and cut and welded a bung for it there. I had to go ahead and splice and add wire.

I will be installing my afr soon, but waiting for slow azzed lo-tec to manuf my pillar pod.
