Im going to reground my MAF and all I have to test it is a digital multitester. Is this the same as a voltmeter? If it is, what setting should I have it on. I dont see anything that is .000

Yes, you set it to measure dc voltage

on ser.net it says the voltmeter has to read
.009 or less. on my multitester i have settings of 1000 / 200 / 20 / 2000m / and 200m. which seting should i put it on to test the MAF?

200m (mV=millivolts) Then you want less than 9mV. Just make sure you set it to DC voltage like Ryan said or it won't read anything.
