What parts of the SR20DE ussally fail? I.E. Rod bearings...ect...?? Any imput would be appricated..thanks...

tranny, engine is pretty much bulletproof, only thing I have seen is Frank Orosco put a piston through his cylinder wall with a 100 shot on a 180k car.

In terms of a DET the most commen problem I've seen is heat cracks in the head. It should be noted that this is on cars which get a decent amount of time on the track.

Hm-m-mm! Weak parts of a DE(T)? IMHO, I absolutely have to say the ringlands. I've had no transmission or bearing problems, but ringlands and I are not on the same page.
