·The real story about E-town.
OK I get there at 7:30 AM. I was teching for the autoX and walking the corse till about 8:30. By this time my car is stripped. no spare tire, jack, nothing. I left all the seats in though. So now I have to go get on the dyno. It is about to rain and it was a lil chilly out. So I am the first car on the dyno. First pull 115 hp and 113 tq. Im like what the hell??? 2nd pull 113 hp and 111 tq. And 3rd was 115 and 113. So I am getting made fun of by everyone and I am a bit disapointed. My mods are CAI and 91 intake cam. So I cant stay around for the rest of the pulls cuz I have to go autoX. I did good at the autoX. It onlt my 3rd time. I was 4th of 8 cars in the class. I beat Jay Cope in his classic, a AWD Subaru XT6, 98 VTEC Prelude and a 2000 eclipice GT. This suspension is great. This was my first time on non-stock suspension and love it. So after I get done with the autoX I go back to the Dyno. I find out that everyone is getting crappy numbers. Ray Kawski had his car done on the very same dyno last fall and pulled a 150 and the best he could do yesterday was 135 or something. I guess it had something to do with the humidity. It was like 100% yesterday. And as Peter alreay said he got the same numbers as I did with the same mods plus the JWT ECU(I think). And BlueSER was there. he has a GTIr powered classic. his first run was at around 160-170 hp. Ray adjustided his timing to 15 and he pulled a 208 hp. Redman was having trouble getting the numbers for his car also. He also pulled 115 hp. I was also disapointed with the drag races. Last time I drag raced was the first time and all I could muster was a 15.9 with just a CAI and JWT PP. and yesterday the best I got was also a 15.9. This is after I installed the intake cam.
