Alright whats the difference between the 2? I know they have totally different tranny FWD and AWD. I have heard that the GTiR moter has 20 more hps. I want to know the difference. Also, where can I can get a hold of a SR20DET?

GTiR = more beef in the bottom end (Yea like we need it) solid lifters, quad throttle bodies, a T28 vs T25 turbo and I think only the GTiR has sodium filled valves.

I think that's it but I might have missed something.

gti-r also has 8.3:1 cr, and bb has (only) 8.5:1 cr. I also think the head design is a little diffrent too, but just to fit the quad t/bs on there.
