If your not gonna be racing then I wouldn't really worry about it all that much....I have a set of 17" Konig's on my car and they weigh about 19 lbs. which isn't really bad fr a set of 17's....

just wondering how bad my new 17" wheels are gonna hinder my performance, I dont race or anything, and they look badass, but they are big and heavy as hell, they are TSW VX-1's and i think when i paint my car next spring, im gonna powdercoat them white. Any opinions or reccomendations on this stuff?

I am running Konig Tantrum 17's and the tire, 205/40/17, has the exact rotational diameter as the stock 195/55/15's that came on the car. The only thing that I have barely noticed is grip factor with smaller sidewalls. If I had a taller sidewall I am sure they wouldnt spin as much but looks compared to performance loss is very minimal.

Just my $0.02
