You can try Strano. But I have to say that the owners are assholes. They tried to rip me off on shipping charges. YMMV. Try NOPI they have good prices as well.

I have to agree with Naji, I've only heard bad things about Stranos. I buy all my stuff from Louis with Apex Motorsports. He has an SE-R himself. His e-mail address is [email protected] Ask him for a quote, he'll be glad to help.

Right now on the SE-R list there is a group deal on Ground Control Coilovers & AGX or GAB struts. I'm in on that one. Kyle "Group Deal" Gilliland is controling that ([email protected]). Here is the break down:

Ground Controls
List price: $399 (for the SE-R/NX2K/200SX/Maxima)
List price: $499

10 kits get's us 20% off
20 kits get's 25% off

Camber plates: List $299
10% off on the group deal.

GABs
SE-R 200SX
rear $147 each
front $215 each

SE-R Classic
rear $215 each
Fronts $215 each

Kyle doesn't have pricing on the AGX's yet.

That price on the GAB's is actually more than what I was quoted from shox.com. But that is still alot. Why do you need camber plates? Would I need them if I got Eibach Pro kit?

That's funny I got a quote from Shox.com also. They said for 4 GAB Struts, - $749.00
Group deal cost is only $724 for 200SX. AGX's from Shox.com are $429.00, so expect the group deal price to be lower.

As far as adjustable cambers, I'll have to ask Kyle the true signifigance of them. Al I know is they allow you to adjust your camber easily. (Alignment stuff) I'll post Kyle's reply, he loves the adjustable cambers.

Whoops, just realized the GAB pricing for classics is $860. That sure is a lot. AGX's are the same, just with a little less dampening and a little less $$.

Last_SE-R...Damn man, what's with the "wrong information"?

It has never been proven that the AGX is any softer than the GAB's. My AGXs seem no less stiff than Craig Damaschi's GABs. There was a rumour floating around, but no one has put them on the shock "dyno" to prove otherwise.

The AGX for the classic isn't out till March 15th. I talked to them. So I will be saving up for those or Gabs...we will see. Does anyone know the warranty period on gabs? Thanks

Again, please ignore all my postings I do not know anything. Thank you.

Here is what I asked shox.com, and their answer:

Me:
"...also, if you guys know, I have heard that GAB's are really just AGX's resold, is that true?"

"The GAB's theoretically have stiffer valving."

please, please, please, do not let this turn into the act vs jwt clutch setup that we saw on the mailing list, I would only guess that the gab setup would be stiffer that the agx b/c the gab is leaning more towards an auto-x setup while the agx is geared towards a street setup, do not quote me on this as this is only a scientific guess and am not trying to say that one IS stiffer than the other. personally I think the gab struts are a rip b/c I am sure that the agx has a setting somewhere along the lines of the gab (same stiffnes, damper, ect), only $300 cheaper, sure I would buy em' if I had the money though.

Yes you just said it: "The GAB's theoretically have stiffer valving."

theoretically

Get the picture? It has not been proven. I would not take the word of a parts jocky either. Talk to KYB yourself and see what they say. Many have.

Oh and lose the attitude man. This is all about helping people not hurting them. Posting wrong information can "hurt" rather than "help". I HAVE the AGX struts on 325/275 springs and Craig HAS GAB's on 325/275 springs, I am speaking first hand.

Put your ego back in your pocket please.

Uhh, no ego hear. Everyone that knows me will agree I'm spineless :) I was being serious, I don't know anything. Well I know a little, just enough to be dangerous I guess. Sorry if my "ego" came across, it's hard to write with emotion. I'll put smiley faces on everything :) ;-)

Spelling correction, I meant "No ego here" not "hear". I'm anal too ;-)With Help from Ben, Louis, Kyle Gilliland, and Jay Haas, I'm progressing nicely, turning into a real gearhead. :) Chicks dig gearheads, I think.

It's all my fault for not getting the licensed version with the nice yellow smilies. :) With them, type just comes alive with emotion!
For example, :) would turn into
, another would be
, among others. (I got these here like the normal picture posting- linked to them from other UBB sites)
