Stick to 95-97 SE-Rs. They are all the same. The 98's don't have VLSD and slightly worse cams. Also they have extra emissions tubes on the throttle body which impedes installation of a strut tower brace, but it can still be done.
I have a 97 SE-R, I love her plus she has good looks and styling. I dont' care too much for the grilles on the 98's. I've done some mods and she jsut keeps getting better. the biggest mod I did so far was the front strut tower bar and the rear sway bar, what a difference, I still have stock springs/shocks on. Bottom line its fun to drive and the best thing is that its NOT a Honda
