Which engine treatment would be the best??

Hey guys, recently my car got out of the mechanic, the valve seals were changed, they were pretty beat up.

The mechanic told me to use Pro long, but Im a little skeptic because my engine once needed to be fixed from something that seemed to be caused by the QMI, he told me the lifters were clogged beacuase of some thick fluid(apparently the QMI). My engine has 143,000 miles on it, but the hot climate in Puerto Rico is a true killer :(

Do you think I should give it a try, or it would be a loss of $$$????

save your money, dont buy that junk. Use Mobil1 5-30 oil... And work from there.

You can run auto-rx through the system if you make sure you don't miss the two oil changes during the application. It obviously doesn't work the same way as Prolong, but it's probably one of the best engine treaments you can do on your car at this point. It's also thinner than most other treatments so it shouldn't affect your engine performance much either (and it certainly shouldn't clog your engine, given the filter doesn't somehow overflow).
