Well I have a stock Highport DE lying around (runs great with over 100k miles) and I think I will start taking it apart this coming sunday. I want to start building a RELIABLE torquey turbo VE motor. I will have all the turbo equipment from my Avenir, but I want to go more in depth then just bolting a turbo onto a VE. I want to do the max bore possible on stock sleeves on the block I have now (87mm right?) and get custom CP DET pistons. I have some cryo-treated DE rods already, and I will get all ARP bolts and studs. My question is, is there anything special I need to do when ordering pistons? I want forged I know that, but will I need any special valve reliefs?

Well I have a complete VE Head setup for $800 plus shipping to put on your turbo build up.
