It's before the cat.So I guess that these number's are acurate. But I could still gain some good torque and whp from 1500 to 5k cause it reads 12.8 and I think it's a little to rich for that range.A catalytic convertor stores O2 and HC's so that the final product after the cat will be as close to 14.7:1 all the time. you need your wideband before the cat.
I would definately fix the afr from 1500 to 5k. Aim for 13.8 on your original wideband placement (after cat). The car will be a lot torquer. From 5k to 7k, you are pretty much right on. I would leave it alone. The VE seems to like it around 12.8-13.2 afr before the cat.So that means from 5k to 7k Im actualy at 13.0.So that means I could adjust and make alittle bit more power if I lean it out to 13.8 13.9.From 1500 to 5k the wide band reads 12.8.So if it's actualy .5 richer than what it's reading.Thats 12.3 afr at that range wich is stupid rich at that range.I could gain some good whp and tourque if I lean it out from 1500 to 5k.Lets asume this is correct about how much will I gain in torque and whp.I'm going to be installing a AFC this week.
