AFAIK, no problemo. I know quite a few guys with B14s that run 17" wheels and tires. I run 205/45/16s on my Classic and I have a lot less room, especially in the rear, than the B14. I'm sure somebody with a B14 can verify this for me, but I'm 99% sure it'll work fine. Maybe even 99.44% sure.

I am running 205 50 15 on my stock B14 rims now and the other day I ran it all the way up to the speed limiter (no JUT ECU)
The speedo read 110 at the 109 cut off. Pretty close if you ask me.

The RSA's are nearing the end of their life-cycle. I know 205/50-15's will fit, and are only 1.6% smaller in diameter than the OE 195/55-15's. BUT, the 215/50-15's are less than .10% larger in diameter, and have 10mm more contact patch (than the 205's). Will this wider tire clear the fender well and OE struts on my 98 Sentra SE? The tires will mount to the OE wheels.

Any input from those with 215's(?) (and you 205ers) is greatly appreciated.

Eric, was your car already lowered when you ran the 225's? Mine is still riding high - the "family car" needs the extra travel.

The 205/50 is certainly more prolific than the 215/50.

Price Range 205/50: $55-$150 each
Price Range 215/50: $96-$153 each

Yeah, it was lowered. The tires didn't rub the fenders, but the splash shield that covers the pulleys and the side of the tranny. After my first autocross run with them, you could smell the burnt plastic.
I have the Bridgeston RE730s 205-50-15, and they handle great. I paid about $80 each from Tire Rack

I used to run 225-50-15 Kumho V700s on my stock rims. They fit well, except they rub the plastic splash sheilds when you turn the wheel all the way. The only problem with the 215s would be the tall side wall. I would stick with the 205s. I have noticed that my odometer is off by 1/2 a 10th mile. Not much, but it does add up.

OK, so 225's will NOT work; 205's will. Has anyone run 215's on a B14?

Also, Eric likes his RE730's - anyone else have a preferred/despised tire?
