MBC Settings??

Well, I finally got a MBC and was anticipating dialing up the boost some. I have the typical BB DET T-25 stock with FMIC, JWT 3bar ECU and AFPR.

In looking at the posts for the dyno #s and such, I have noticed that most people either run 7-8psi (stock) or 10-11 psi. My question is how high can I go with the boost w/out having to worry about: 1. running out of injector at 3 bar, 2. at what point to I need to go ahead and get cooler plugs?. I am pretty conservative and have been monitoring the plugs for detonation, none there.

The reason I ask is that the MBC I purchased was one of the cheapo ball and spring type (ebay) and the lowest I can set the boost is about 12-12.5 psi.

Is this acceptable or should I does someone make a factory type wastegate actuator with a threaded pre-load adjustment for small changes in boost like I desire?

Thanks

12psi is just dandy. Ran that all last year with the TMIC and it was great.
Wow, Dave that was a fast response. I didn't know if I would run into any problems with that boost level. I'm not looking for huge hp #s, but wanted to have the ability to "surprise" people if needed. Man at 12 psi this thing feels good.

How do you like your GTiR setup? I would like to upgrade sometime this year, but trying to get my suspension stuff squared away over the summer.

Edit - Do I need to go to a "colder" plug with 12 psi?
