there are only 2 people in this world i respect from modding a GA....and those people are Wes and Mike young. they did that to prove the GA was a better engine than we all thought and find what would work and what will not..........they had money and the NPM to show their findings. they took their time and money to help all of us.

that being said i still wouldnt mod a GA but i respect their efforts, the amount of money you need to get the same horsepower out of a GA would be alot more than just modding an SR. also, last time i checked it seemed like 250/280 WHP was the threashhold of the GA engine without breaking into it.

look at the torque band. its looks like a copy and pasted hp graph. also why would the name of the runs change? if its the same car it should have been the same name.

I would have to call bs on the stock internals part lol. Im not saying it cannot be done, but im preettyy sure that stock internals on a ga cannot handle that kinda boost. Correct me if im wrong of course, but im thinking that motor has different internals.

this guy must be amazing. i found this on the almera forums. he apparently can put an sr20 transmission onto the ga block, thread 24 got me http://www.almeraownersclub.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=149400#post149400
apparently the bell housing and the clutch hosuing are two completely different things because i always thought the clutch was in the bellhousing and the gears were in the case but i could be wrong.
