Has anyone ever used ebay coilovers for b13? I need coilovers to jack up the rear for traction. Just wondering if you guys had good / bad experiance with them. LET ME KNOW. THANKS :biggthump

If anything, buy a set of the eBay coilovers, toss the springs or sell them to some moron, and buy a set of Eibach's ERS springs and throw those on, then you'll essentially have Ground Controls for less money.

A buddy of mine ran these on his classic. He rode with them low as hell to where the front wheels were tucking. The car rode very stiff but thats probably because he was riding the bumpstops constantly. I honestly wouldn't go for them if your actually trying to have your suspension help you get traction. I bet 90% of the companies that sell those coilovers don't even know the spring rates.:eek2:

i noticed that too. In Korea, they have some Nike look alikes with out the Nike logo for 80% cheaper. Being that Nikes are made in Korea, i wonder if the name really makes it 80% more then what they would normally go for.

that may be true...however when it comes to suspension i wouldn't risk it at all.

if youre walking with fake nikes, the worst thing that will happen to you is that someone will clown on you.

the worst thing that could happen with cheap springs is that your springs break :X

just cut your springs then... it'll be lowered and stiffer... can't get any cheaper and more simple.... :biggthump

In that case,I guess you want a crapy ride!!! I would get some D2's

ebay coilovers are about the same as using dooky as brake pads;)
hmmmmm, im not trying to speed 300 bucks on suspension, i need something cheap and simple.
cheap and suspension is not a good combo in any way shape or form. dont mis the 2 or you will end up most likely hurt.

I would get the cheap ebay coilovers and put the eibach in. It is basically the same thing. Unless you are going to spend over $1000 for your suspension, all of it feels the same to me.

Didn't Manny(Se-Rawkus) have ebay coilovers?

this thread is interesting... not to thread jack or nothing but i'm running AGX's with pro kit.. kind want the rear to sit higher because it's sagging kinda... so if i get some cheapo ebay coilovers i can switch the sleves on to my AGX's? How so?
