Because then you would have even more clearance problems. The B13 end shifts over to the passenger side of the car to attach to the shifter. On the P11 trans the entire shif rod sits further to the passenger side of the trans. Putting the B13 piece on the P11 rod would just cause an even bigger problem.

What is the diff between locking and nonlocking? Oh and how much hp is the tranny supposed to be good for again?
Ha ha, your gonna get in search trouble asking questions like that. Locking means it has a LSD non locking means it doesn't. No one is sure about how much it holds until someone makes big power without breaking it. Mines held 390 wheel torque.

SR20Turbofreak recently dyno'd 500 whp and he runs a stock P11 tranny. Between that and your 390 number, I think that pretty much settles the question of whether or not they can handle power!

I think that the next thing to watch for is the SE-R Cup guys to use this transmission. Then we'll know how much power they can take, rather, for how long they can take power.

I think that we need to see if a clutch-type coupler or ATB device will work in this transmission next...

Redline MT-90; same as other SR trannies. Redline Shockproof if you're really neanderthal. But I don't recall it's capacity being that much lower than the '32 transmission.

I just took the trans apart. The diff definitely looks different. I'll try to get some pics up this weekend. I noticed alot of big differences in the trans, Nissan made some very good changes.
